  3. Sustainable Business Design (5-day course)

SwIdeas in collaboration with STPLN see that there is a dire need for new approaches towards more effective social, economic and environmental development. In the dominant economic model of today we ‘take, make and dispose’ materials, products, energy and labour. Through sustainable business design, we seek to reuse this waste to increase the effective use of resources, natural capital and sustainability. Throughout the five days we will explore the concepts of ‘Making Common-the third industrial revolution’, the circular economy, the sharing economy and collaborative consumption, and new co-laboratory and innovative working models. We will then explore how you could apply these concepts to your local context to create a more sustainable business and eventually a more sustainable world.
