The project was co-funded by the Swedish Institute (Si) and was in collaboration with the Egyptian organization Waseela. The main focus was to generate ideas to create and empower young talents in cultural/creative industries, as means of promoting freedom of speech and human rights. The project included a new innovative approach by screening the cooperation synergies between social entrepreneurs and creative industries entrepreneurs. The findings showed a need of developing skills for youths to express oneself as part of the democratic process. The project included field visits to Sweden and Egypt, mapping of cooperation between cultural actors in Sweden and Egypt, demonstration of tools to provide free access of information for youths.
