  • Abdallah Sobeih

    LEAD ANALYST/MANAGING DIRECTOR

    Works within the fields of community and business development.

    Abdallah is SwIdeas’ founding managing director and the developer of SwIdeas operational model. He has extensive experience in project management for community development, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and inclusive education. He holds an MSc. Degree in Business and Economics from Lund University and professional certified background in programming. He coordinates project conceptualization and execution and collaborates with diverse international stakeholders to develop innovative projects that bridge digitalization and social and environmental sustainability. His main interests and fields of work are economics for development, digital technologies, non-formal and informal education, sustainability, and diversity.

  • Julia Moreira

    LEAD ANALYST/SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

    Works within the fields of sustainability and climate change.

    Julia is responsible for the development and the execution of projects through research, data analysis, and training delivery. She collaborates with the team and European partners to coordinate and develop project proposals, especially while integrating environmental sustainability. She is experienced in project coordination, organisation, and reporting. Julia has an MSc. degree in human ecology from Lund University. Her main interests and fields of work are climate change, environmental education, decarbonization, and minorities’ rights.

  • Emily Hanna

    PROJECT MANAGER/ TRAINING COORDINATOR & ERASMUS+ MOBILITIES

    Works within the fields of socio-economic integration, human rights, empowerment of vulnerable groups and environmental sustainability.

    Emily is responsible for the development and implementation of projects through applied research, analysis and training. She collaborates with the team, European and Swedish partners for the effective implementation of projects. She has experience in adaptive learning and inclusion, as well as in stakeholder outreach and engagement. Emily has an MA in Human Rights from Malmö University and an MA in Anthropology from Sorbonne University.

  • Lavinia Apicella

    ANALYST/PROJECT COORDINATOR

    Works within the fields of migration, socioeconomic inclusion, youth work, gender and entrepreneurship.

    Lavinia is responsible for the development and implementation of projects through research, analysis and training. She also has experience in running mentorship programs, organizing events and conducting monitoring and evaluation activities, measuring the impact of projects on the local level, as well as developing project proposals. Lavinia holds an M.A. in Advanced Migration studies from Copenhagen University, and has an academic background in international relations, development and gender studies (sociology and anthropology). Her main interests and fields of work are within integration and employment, entrepreneurship, youth and women’s rights.

  • Merle Emrich

    ANALYST/PROGRAMME OFFICER

    Member of the technical team responsible for the development and implementation of projects.

    Merle holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations (Malmö University) and a Master’s degree in Sociology of Law from Lund University. Her main interests and fields of work are climate change and the intersection between environmental and social sustainability.

  • Kadi L. Bosnjak

    EDUCATION & PEDAGOGY TECHNICAL ANALYST (Affiliated Pedagogue)

    Works in the fields of training and education in projects related to language learning.

    Kadi holds a Bachelor degree of Arts with major in English from Malmö University and a Bachelor degree in Teaching from Uppsala University. She also holds a MA in Social Sciences with major in Child Studies from Linköping University. Kadi has many years of linguistic experience in both teaching and translating.

  • Suzanne Månsson

    TRAINEE IN THE EUROPEAN BIOECONOMY IN AGRICULTURE (RELIEF) PROJECT

    Suzanne follows her heart with a return to styudying. The courses Sustainable Food Intrapreneur at YH, and Operations Manager Green Industries at Folkuniversitetet complement each other. They provide holistic knowledge from farm to fork and back to soil, and are part of Suzanne's career move from product design towards the development of Sustainable Food Production. With a holistic approach and as a specialist in being a generalist in development, her ambition is to work with real needs to be a change agent who creates a better tomorrow. Her undergraduate education is in Industrial Design M.F A. at Konstfack in Stockholm, which she has supplemented with Design for Sustainable Development and Interaction Design at Malmö University.  

  • Celina Ullberg

    PROJECTS & COMMUNICATION INTERN

    Works on projects and communication in the fields of sustainability.

    Celina holds a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science from Lund University and has specialized in environmental psychology and sustainability.
