Feeling Home

Feeling Home is a KA2 Cooperation Partnership, co-funded by the Erasmus+ fund of the European Union. Led by Iberika Education Group (Germany), the project gathers partnerships from Sweden (SwIdeas AB), Spain (Associacio La Xixa Teatre), Greece (Synergasia Enegon Politon), and Italy (Centro per lo Sviluppo Creativo Danilo Dolci).

Feeling Home is an innovative project which aims to achieve a reduction in the risk of social exclusion of migrant women in our society. At the same time, Feeling Home aims to improve the competences of educators for the delivery of informal training including digital skills. The main project objectives are 1) to increase language learning opportunities for migrant women by creating a new informal pedagogical approach to thereby enhance their integration possibilities in the host countries; 2) To support language trainers working with migrants and vulnerable groups with new methodologies, best practice examples and an extensive repository for free materials and digital tool.

Curriculum

Only available in Swedish

The curriculum contains all lesson plans for indoor classes and field trips that make up the language learning program. It can be used by all types of educators, and is designed for groups who have more difficulty learning the language.

Goals:

  • To improve language learning opportunities for the most vulnerable immigrant groups

  • To provide teaching pathways, strategies and instructions for educators involved in integration services, so that they can duplicate this language learning experience with their own goals regardless of language teaching ability.
