PITCH – a model for gender-sensitive integration strategies based on Personalised, partIcipaTory, loCal, and multistakeHolder approaches

This EU project is co-financed by the European Union’s Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund. This project is led by CESIE in Italy, in partnership with organizations from Italy (Comune di Palermo), Greece (Symplexis and Dimos Neapolis Sykeon), Slovenia (ZNANSTVENO-RAZISKOVALNO SREDISCE KOPER and MESTNA OBCINA KOPER), Spain (INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING AND MOBILITY AGENCY SOCIEDAD DE RESPONSABILIDAD LIMITADA and AYUNTAMIENTO DE SEVILLA), Cyprus (CSI CENTER FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION and Demos Ipsona), Lithuania (VSI DIVERSITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP), Sweden (SwIdeas), and Poland (Union of Baltic Cities).

PITCH is a project aimed at establishing a common European ground to support the design and implementation of local integration strategies addressed to migrant women, based on a personalised, participatory, and multi-stakeholder approach. The project will do so by co- designing a model, translating it into 7 local strategies, and pilot-testing it with migrant women in the partner countries. This is expected to lead to 1) enhanced socio-economic integration of migrant women and increased interaction between them and the host society, 2) a newly developed model for integration strategies adaptable to the specificities of different local contexts, 3) sustainable collaborations and increased readiness of organizations, institutions, and relevant stakeholders to tackle integration issues in the future. The project aims to reach out to migrant women as the main target group as well as social operators, policy-makers, relevant stakeholders in the field of strategy making and the wider public.
